MATCH PREVIEW | Rhinos Women face Barrow this Sunday

The run-in for the Betfred Women's Super League season begins this Sunday as Leeds Rhinos Women look to hold onto their place in the top four as Lois Forsell's side travel to the Northern Competitions Stadium to take on Barrow Raiders this Sunday afternoon, kick off 12pm.
Three points separate the clubs in the league table heading into round ten, but the Rhinos hope that a convincing win will set them up for a strong finish to the regular season after posting 66 points on the Raiders back in June.
Here's your match preview:
Opposition
After finishing their debut Super League campaign with five wins to their name, Amanda Wilkinson's Barrow side are set to match that total again in 2025 as wins over Warrington and Leigh have put the side level on points with Huddersfield Giants just outside the top four spaces.
A 16-10 win over the Leopards last time out saw leading try scorer and Scotland international Nicole Stewart continue her impressive season as two tries took her total for the year to nine tries, plus Vanessa Temple took her tally to four tries for the year as the long-serving outside back enters her fourth season with the club. The result came on the back of a 58-0 defeat at the hands of York Valkyrie, but before that the club ran riot against the Wolves - a hat trick from Claire Hutchinson led a 52-10 demolition on home soil in round seven.
The win came after the Raiders endured a tight 14-6 result against Warrington earlier in the season, but they have struggled to find a result against the sides above them. Wigan, St Helens, Leeds and Huddersfield have all taken wins away from the Raiders in the first nine games of the season and their season doesn't get any easier as the Saints, Warriors and Valkyrie await in the next three games after this Sunday. A game against the Giants awaits in Barrow's final test of the year too, when they can set down a marker for 2026 if they can find a result against Huddersfield.
